Our interest and background in transdisciplinary research allows us to combine expertise in recent biological findings, wearable computing, biomimetic engineering, sensor technology and ergonomic design to reduce the gap between the human body and technology.
The e-Skin team is interested in developing novel interfaces which overcome predominant limitations in ergonomy, intuitivity and robustness. To a large extent these limitations stem from a highly unbalanced involvement of human modalities in the process of interaction.
